Regional Training Institute (Programs), AIR, Ahmedabad is one of the five Regional Training Institutes working under Staff Training Institute (Programs), All India Radio, Delhi. 

The Institute is housed in the premises of All India Radio, Ahmedabad on the Second floor.   RTI(P), Ahmedabad caters the training requirements of All India Radio Stations in the States of Gujarat, Rajasthan, M.P., Chhatisgarh, Punjab, Hariyana and Delhi for Programme & Administrative Courses and Administrative staff of Doordarshan Kendras and its subordinate offices in these States are also covered for Administrative Training Courses.  In all, 117 Centres (both AIR & Doordarshan) fall under the service Zone of RTI (P), Ahmedabad.   Training Courses for Programme Executives, Transmission Executives, Announcers, Librarians, Accountants, Upper Division Clerks, Lower Division Clerks etc. are conducted by the Institute as per the Annual Training Calendar approved by STI (P), Delhi, independently as well in coordination with other Regional Training
Institutes, like RTI(P), Lucknow & Hydrabad.
